How Ethnicities Are Used

Ethnicity values configured here are used across the system, including:

  • Patient and User Demographics – Capturing ethnicity information
  • Clinical Data Entry – Supporting structured demographic inputs
  • Reporting and Analytics – Enabling analysis by ethnicity

Important Notes

  • Ethnicities are global reference values and apply across all modules
  • Changes may impact existing data and reporting outputs
  • Ensure naming conventions are clear and consistent
  • Consider standardizing formats for combined values (e.g., use consistent delimiters such as semicolons)

Proper configuration of ethnicity values ensures accurate and meaningful demographic data across the application.
